TO SURVIVE & STAY AFLOAT IN THE JOB MARKET CONTINUOUS KNOWLEDGE UPGRADATION IS THE ONLY WAY & OPTION.

What Happens when you standstill on a Moving Treadmill? You fall down, this is what happens when You stop learning & acquiring Knowledge both Professional & general. Today is the age where knowledge is also a Currency/Passport which you can use to go up the Career ladder, so all of you who have just completed your Graduation & eagerly/impatiently waiting to enter the Corporate World should always remember this point, learning means you are upgrading your knowledge, just like Computers & other equipment’s even we need constant upgradation to stay in tune with the time which is a must to survive in today’s World.
As our Society is growing & developing at a very rapid pace new things (Goods & Services) are coming into existence which is more efficient, modern & most importantly very disruptive, the manner in which technological inventions & innovations are moving its good for the society as a Product or Service but it’s also becoming a Source of risk to the Jobs of Millions of educated People, day by day everything is getting automated at such a pace that in times to come everything be it product or service will be undoubtedly used or consumed by Human beings but it will be manufactured by Robots (For Products) & serviced by automated process (Computers), so in the times to come there will be another revolution or shall we say churning in the jobs market (Max within the next 10-15 Year or even earlier) so it’s a no brainer that we should equip ourselves with as much knowledge & expertise that we can survive such a doomsday scenario. In short all of you must not relax after getting a job you should learn constantly to at least be relevant on the horizon otherwise you will fall behind & your career will be over.
Recently there was an article in a Business daily (about CTS) in which it said that due to rapid improvements & innovations in technology IT Companies are earning more despite hiring less work force than they did say 5-10 Years ago, in the same column it was written that today to earn 1 Billion US Dollars (About Rs.6350 Crores 1USD = Rs.63.50) a Company does not hires a Single Person while few Years ago to earn the same 1 Billion US Dollar Companies had to Hire about 14000 Persons, this is the kind of change I am talking about to all of You, so in the times to come only the best of the best will survive in the Job Market.
A lot of People on Infosys groups think that Java is being replaced by Python from June 2015 onwards so there is no need to learn Java, such type of mindset is very silly & childish as till a technology exists it will be used somewhere or the other & so whether Infosys uses/trains Java or not is not relevant but its relevant for You as a Person to know & learn Java, as if not today it may be of use to You in future.
So all of You Future Infosys Joinees learn as much as you can if you want to insure your Job & Career. All the Best, learn honestly & seriously as your main Mission in going to Mysore is getting trained in various technologies & not to go on a Paid Vacation.
